What would it be like to live in one of the best cities in America?
Out of 100 ranked cities in Money Magazine's top 100 places to living in America, Frisco came in at 38, Richardson at 18, and Carrolton at 15. In addition to some of the best places to live in the USA, Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) boasts new developments in Plano and Frisco as well as well-established settlements in Carrolton, Richardson, and Addison, among others.
Even Richardson and other well-established, family-friendly towns, have been attracting a steady growth of new residents. Just 12 miles north of Dallas on Highway 75, families and young professionals find Richardson an excellent suburban location with larger than average home sizes. Like residents of Dallas and other suburbs, residents of Richardson enjoy many arts and entertainment events, such as the popular Wildflower singer/songwriter festival attracting more than 50,000 attendees. With single family homes in Richardson averaging under $200,000, this convenient suburb is an easier entry point to Dallas living than some of the newer developments north of Dallas.
While the highway surrounds Richardson, other popular growing communities, are stops for the Light Rail System, Dart, which connects 13 cities for now, but a major expansion is in the works. For example, luxurious and popular Plano is 20 miles north of Downtown Dallas, but since it is part of the Light Rail System, residents can commute to downtown Dallas in a snap. Other cities, like Frisco, do not boast Dart access, but the well-to-do and fast-growing Frisco is located off of the Dallas North Tollway offering a viable means of getting to Dallas (some 30 miles south) if necessary.
Texas is also home to older neighborhoods that are protected conservation districts because of their historic nature.
If you are deciding when to buy a home, keep in mind interest rates, home prices, and government incentives, such as the Homebuyer's Tax Credit. These three factors draw thousands of people from around the country to DFW every year, even during the long recession period. In addition, DFWs great school system is a great incentive for family relocation.
The most important aspect of finding a home in Dallas is awareness of the market and proven ability in real estate transactions. You might be relocating to Dallas and are unsure in which neighborhood to buy. Our real estate matchmakers know almost every nook and cranny of the many Dallas suburbs and they look forward to matching your living needs with just the right community.
In addition, our Dallas Realtors sell six times as many homes per year than an average Dallas Realtor. As a result, our buyers receive excellent treatment from the various companies associated with a home purchase, such as termite and home inspection and especially new home builders. With these well-established industry relationships, you can save thousands of dollars on your home purchase.
