Would you like to live in one of the best cities in America?
The Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex is home to booming communities, such as in Frisco and Plano, while also maintaining century old neighborhoods in Carrolton, Richardson, and Addison, just to name a few. The Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex is home to booming communities, such as in Frisco and Plano, while also maintaining century old neighborhoods in Carrolton, Richardson, and Addison, just to name a few. Just 12 miles north of Dallas on Highway 75, families and young professionals find Richardson an excellent suburban location with larger than average home sizes. Like many great Dallas suburbs, Richardson puts on events to tie the community together, including the yearly singer/songwriter festival, Wildflower, which boasts over 50,000 attendees. With single family homes in Richardson averaging under $200,000, this convenient suburb is an easier entry point to Dallas living than some of the newer developments north of Dallas.
Some cities are not so lucky to have a highway going through it like Richardson has, but they are lucky to have Dallas' light rail system—Dart. For example, the affluent Plano is 20 miles north of Dallas, hosts many corporate headquarters so commuting is not a problem for many residents, but when travel to Dallas is needed, the Dart is their to provide it. Other cities, like Frisco, do not boast Dart access, but the well-to-do and fast-growing Frisco is located off of the Dallas North Tollway offering a viable means of getting to Dallas (some 30 miles south) if necessary.
Rather than a choosing a modern development of luxory homes, you might like to engage in historical living in one of DFW's conservation districts which are beaming with wide streets lined with mature foliage.
When determining a good time to buy a home, consider mortgage interest rate levels, home price levels, and government incentives such as Homebuyer's Tax Credit. These factors vary from season to season, but DFW remains strong in offering some of the best conditions for buying a home. In addition, DFW is well known for excellent education, providing an incentive to families to relocate.
Another incentive to relocating to DFW, especially for families, is the choice of many excellent schools.
The most important aspect of finding a home in Dallas is awareness of the market and proven ability in real estate transactions. You might be relocating to Dallas and are unsure in which neighborhood to buy. Know that our agents have extensive knowledge of each Dallas neighborhood and can help you find the right setting for you and your family.
In addition, our Dallas Realtors sell six times as many homes per year than an average Dallas Realtor. As a result, our clients get preferential treatment with home warranty companies, inspections companies, and most importantly Home Builders. With industry connections like these, you will save thousands on your next home purchase.
