With so many homes for sale in so many areas in Texas, you might wonder where you should start looking. This depends largely on the type of area you would like to live in and what your criterion are for moving or purchasing a new home. There are two suburbs in the Dallas area that you should consider, as this is one of the most popular places in the country to live. Both offer high-level housing, a quality educational system, a safe environment.
They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. Plano, Texas is a suburb just a bit northeast of Dallas that has about as much to offer as any city in the Country. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.
Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. If you have children, you will be thrilled to find out that Plano boasts one of the best school systems in the area. Many suburbs of the larger, more desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities. This is not true of Plano.
It will be quite easy for you to make a perfect home in Plano as it has shopping and dining for every taste. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.
The second city, Frisco, is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country (CNN). Frisco has held up very well and is a relatively strong market despite the current recession which has hit all areas, including real estate.
You will be making a sound business investment, as well, by buying a home in Frisco at this time. Frisco is 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas, and 25 minutes from both Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Love Field.
Both Plano and Frisco are close to many businesses, and Frisco has a conference center that is continuously in use for trade shows and conferences, satisfying a variety of interests. Of course, its school system is superb. Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live for its high job growth, high median income and small-town charm. There is quite a variety of entertainment available in Frisco: the city has four professional sports teams you can root for, and there are over 150 pieces of art displayed in the city at any given time.
Pizza Hut park is located in Frisco; this is where the Dallas Stars are located, and it is also where major league soccer games are played and concerts are provided.
Those with more 'cultural' taste will enjoy the beautiful sculputre garden in Frisco and find a variety of events to suit them.
