If you are looking to buy a home in Texas, you may be having trouble because of all the available real estate there. The type of area you would like to live in and the criterion that are most important to you will have great significance on your ultimate decision. There are two suburbs in the Dallas area that you should consider, as this is one of the most popular places in the country to live. A safe living community, quality educational system and high-level housing are common to both.
Business traveles as well as families with small children will find both these cities to be very convenient places to live, and those wishing a nightlife will not be disappointed. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. It is a hot, up-and-coming area because it is within a short driving distance, on well-planned roads, of Dallas. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.
Many corporate headquarters can be found here as well, making Plano a good choice for anyone seeking new job opportunities. Plano boasts an excellent school system, which will make both you and your children happier. Amenities are sometimes lacking in some suburbs that surround larger cities, and those cities can be underdeveloped as a result. This is not true of Plano.
It will be quite easy for you to make a perfect home in Plano as it has shopping and dining for every taste. Whether you are a night-owl or prefer to entertain yourself during daylight hours, Plano has much to offer, such as hot-air baloon rides, world-famous spas and fantastic dining and dancing.
The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco has held up very well and is a relatively strong market despite the current recession which has hit all areas, including real estate.
This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Frisco is 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas, and 25 minutes from both Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Love Field.
Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. Frisco is ranked as one of the best places to live in this Country -- it has small town charm, but also provides an atmosphere with a great school system, high job growth and a high median income. For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.
There is major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place, and the Dallas Stars are the popular home team.
Everybody will be happy with the culture and entertainment in Frisco, it has one of the most beautiful sculpture gardens around, which will add serenity to anyone's life.
