With so many homes for sale in so many areas in Texas, you might wonder where you should start looking. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. You should consider one of two very popular suburbs of Dallas, TX, as they both have a wide variety of various amenities. A safe living community, quality educational system and high-level housing are common to both.
Families with small children, as well as business travelers, will find both of these cities to be quite desirable, and those looking for nightlife will have a lot from which to choose. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. There are many Fortune 500 companies nearby, and a lot of them are actively looking for new employees.
Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. If you have children, you will be thrilled to find out that Plano boasts one of the best school systems in the area. It is well known that many suburbs of desirable large cities can be a little under-developed in terms of amenities. This is not true of Plano.
There are shopping and dining options for every taste - live in Plano and you will no longer have to worry where you will buy that specialty item that will turn your house into the home of your dreams. There will be no derth of entertainment for lesiure time you live in Plano: during the day you might try one of their world-famous spas, and at night you will have dining and dancing choices galore.
The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco has held up very well and is a relatively strong market despite the current recession which has hit all areas, including real estate.
This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Downtown Dallas, Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field are all less than a half hour's drive from Frisco.
Both Plano and Frisco are close to many businesses, and Frisco has a conference center that is continuously in use for trade shows and conferences, satisfying a variety of interests. Of course, its school system is superb. Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live for its high job growth, high median income and small-town charm. There are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout Frisco, all year round, and it has four professional sports teams.
Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.
There is a beautiful sculpture garden in Frisco as well which those with discerning taste will be very happy here.
