Because there are so many homes for sale all over Texas, you may not be able to decide where to start your earch. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. Both offer high-level housing, a quality educational system, a safe environment.

Families with children, as well as single people looking to be near the limelight will be happy in either city, and they ar both convenient for business travelers. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. Plan is just a short drive from Texas, on well planned roads, which makes it about as much of a hot, up-and-coming community as you will find. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.

Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. If you've got children you'll be ever happier - Plano boasts an excellent school system. Many suburbs of the larger, more desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities. Plano does not have this problem.

When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.

CNN has reported that Frisco, the second city of choice near Dallas, is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country. Times have been somewhat tough for the real estate market during this recession, but Frisco has held up well.

You will be making a business investment that is quite sound when you buy a home in Frisco. Frisco is 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas, and 25 minutes from both Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Love Field.

Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. Frisco is ranked as one of the best places to live in this Country -- it has small town charm, but also provides an atmosphere with a great school system, high job growth and a high median income. There is quite a variety of entertainment available in Frisco: the city has four professional sports teams you can root for, and there are over 150 pieces of art displayed in the city at any given time.

Concerts, soccer and football are all played in Pizza Hut park, with the Dallas Stars using it as its home field.

Everybody will be happy with the culture and entertainment in Frisco, it has one of the most beautiful sculpture gardens around, which will add serenity to anyone's life.
