You might wonder where you should start looking if you are thinking of moving to a home in Texas. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. There are two suburbs in the Dallas area that you should consider, as this is one of the most popular places in the country to live. A high quality educational system, the safety of a relatively small city and beautiful, unique homes can be found in both.
Business traveles as well as families with small children will find both these cities to be very convenient places to live, and those wishing a nightlife will not be disappointed. One of the suburbs just northeast of Dallas is called Plano, and it has as much to offer its citizens as any place in this Country. It is a hot, up-and-coming area because it is within a short driving distance, on well-planned roads, of Dallas. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.
Additionally, many of those companies actually have their corporate headquarters in or near Dallas, making plano a good choice for anyone looking for a fresh career beginning. Because Plano has a great school system, your children will also advance on their own road to success. Amenities are sometimes lacking in some suburbs that surround larger cities, and those cities can be underdeveloped as a result. Plano does not have this problem.
There are shopping and dining options for every taste - live in Plano and you will no longer have to worry where you will buy that specialty item that will turn your house into the home of your dreams. You will have your choice of entertainment in Plano, also as there are, for instance, world-famous spas and hot-air balloon rides available during the day, while the nighttime sparkles.
The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Times have been somewhat tough for the real estate market during this recession, but Frisco has held up well.
This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Frisco is just a stone's throw from city life, with Downtown Dallas, Love Field, and the Dallas Forth Worth International Airport all within a half hour.
Both Plano and Frisco are close to many businesses, and Frisco has a conference center that is continuously in use for trade shows and conferences, satisfying a variety of interests. It is unusual to find a city with small-town charm that also has a great school system, high job growth, and high median income; nonetheless, Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live. For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.
Concerts, soccer and football are all played in Pizza Hut park, with the Dallas Stars using it as its home field.
Those looking for an afternoon of serenity can take a trip to the sculptural garden, which is just one more landmark that makes Frisco a place to call home.
