You might wonder where you should start looking if you are thinking of moving to a home in Texas. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. A quality educational system, high-level housing and the safety of a close-knit community are common to both.
They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. While there are very many nice cities in Texas, Plano stands out as a northeat suburb of Dallas as a city with about as many amenities as you will find anywhere. It is a hot, up-and-coming area because it is within a short driving distance, on well-planned roads, of Dallas. Quite a few of the nearby Fortune 500 companies are seeking employees, so Plano will not disapoint in the job area!
Many corporate headquarters can be found here as well, making Plano a good choice for anyone seeking new job opportunities. Because Plano has a great school system, your children will also advance on their own road to success. Many suburbs of the larger, more desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities. Quite the contrary in Plano.
When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.
The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Times have been somewhat tough for the real estate market during this recession, but Frisco has held up well.
This shows that buying a home in Frisco has been, and will continue to be, a sound investment. Frisco is just a stone's throw from city life, with Downtown Dallas, Love Field, and the Dallas Forth Worth International Airport all within a half hour.
Frisco is, just like Plano, close to many businesses, and has a conference center that hosts conferences and trade shows continuously. Of course, its school system is superb. Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live for its high job growth, high median income and small-town charm. For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.
Pizza Hut park is located in Frisco; this is where the Dallas Stars are located, and it is also where major league soccer games are played and concerts are provided.
There is a beautiful sculpture garden in Frisco as well which those with discerning taste will be very happy here.
