Homes For Sale In Plano

By dallasrealtor | July 8, 2010

Because there are so many homes for sale all over Texas, you may not be able to decide where to start your earch. This depends largely on the type of area you would like to live in and what your criterion are for moving or purchasing a new home. There are two suburbs in the Dallas area that you should consider, as this is one of the most popular places in the country to live. A quality educational system, high-level housing and the safety of a close-knit community are common to both.

Families with small children, as well as business travelers, will find both of these cities to be quite desirable, and those looking for nightlife will have a lot from which to choose. One of the suburbs just northeast of Dallas is called Plano, and it has as much to offer its citizens as any place in this Country. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.

Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. If you have children, you will be thrilled to find out that Plano boasts one of the best school systems in the area. It is well known that many suburbs of desirable large cities can be a little under-developed in terms of amenities. Quite the contrary in Plano.

When you live in Plano, you will never have to worry about where to go to eat and dine, Plano has, or has nearby, just about anything you would need to turn your house into a home. There will be no derth of entertainment for lesiure time you live in Plano: during the day you might try one of their world-famous spas, and at night you will have dining and dancing choices galore.

Frisco is another fast-growing real estate market in the nation (CNN). Times have been somewhat tough for the real estate market during this recession, but Frisco has held up well.

This shows that buying a home in Frisco has been, and will continue to be, a sound investment. Frisco is just a stone's throw from city life, with Downtown Dallas, Love Field, and the Dallas Forth Worth International Airport all within a half hour.

Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. It is unusual to find a city with small-town charm that also has a great school system, high job growth, and high median income; nonetheless, Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live. There are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout Frisco, all year round, and it has four professional sports teams.

Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.

Frisco provides a well-rounded cultural and entertainment environment, including its beautiful sculpture garden in the heart of the city.
