The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. If you have children, you will be thrilled to find out that Plano boasts one of the best school systems in the area. It is well known that many suburbs of desirable large cities can be a little under-developed in terms of amenities. Quite the contrary in Plano.
When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. Whether you are a night-owl or prefer to entertain yourself during daylight hours, Plano has much to offer, such as hot-air baloon rides, world-famous spas and fantastic dining and dancing.
CNN has reported that Frisco, the second city of choice near Dallas, is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country. Times have been somewhat tough for the real estate market during this recession, but Frisco has held up well.
You will be making a business investment that is quite sound when you buy a home in Frisco. Downtown Dallas, Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field are all less than a half hour's drive from Frisco.
Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. Frisco is ranked as one of the best places to live in this Country -- it has small town charm, but also provides an atmosphere with a great school system, high job growth and a high median income. There is quite a variety of entertainment available in Frisco: the city has four professional sports teams you can root for, and there are over 150 pieces of art displayed in the city at any given time.
Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.
Frisco provides a well-rounded cultural and entertainment environment, including its beautiful sculpture garden in the heart of the city.
