With so many homes for sale in so many areas in Texas, you might wonder where you should start looking. This depends largely on the type of area you would like to live in and what your criterion are for moving or purchasing a new home. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. A high quality educational system, the safety of a relatively small city and beautiful, unique homes can be found in both.
They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. One of the suburbs just northeast of Dallas is called Plano, and it has as much to offer its citizens as any place in this Country. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. Those seeking employment will find a nice surprise in Plano, there are many Fortune 500 companies nearly.
Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. If you have children, you will be thrilled to find out that Plano boasts one of the best school systems in the area. Many suburbs of the larger, more desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities. Quite the contrary in Plano.

For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.
