Because there are so many homes for sale all over Texas, you may not be able to decide where to start your earch. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. A safe living community, quality educational system and high-level housing are common to both.
Business traveles as well as families with small children will find both these cities to be very convenient places to live, and those wishing a nightlife will not be disappointed. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. It is within a short driving distance of Dallas, and the roads there are well planned and maintained, making this a very trendy place to live. Those seeking employment will find a nice surprise in Plano, there are many Fortune 500 companies nearly.
Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. Plano boasts an excellent school system, which will make both you and your children happier. It is well known that many suburbs of desirable large cities can be a little under-developed in terms of amenities. Plano is a pleasant exception to this.
There are shopping and dining options for every taste - live in Plano and you will no longer have to worry where you will buy that specialty item that will turn your house into the home of your dreams. There will be no derth of entertainment for lesiure time you live in Plano: during the day you might try one of their world-famous spas, and at night you will have dining and dancing choices galore.
The second city, Frisco, is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country (CNN). Frisco's real estate market, like many other markets in Texas, has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.
You will be making a business investment that is quite sound when you buy a home in Frisco. Frisco is 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas, and 25 minutes from both Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Love Field.
Both Plano and Frisco are close to many businesses, and Frisco has a conference center that is continuously in use for trade shows and conferences, satisfying a variety of interests. It is unusual to find a city with small-town charm that also has a great school system, high job growth, and high median income; nonetheless, Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live. At any time you will find some entertainment in Frisco as it is home to four professional sports teams and has art exhibits including over 150 pieces on public display at all times.
Concerts, soccer and football are all played in Pizza Hut park, with the Dallas Stars using it as its home field.
Those looking for an afternoon of serenity can take a trip to the sculptural garden, which is just one more landmark that makes Frisco a place to call home.
