If you are looking to buy a home in Texas, you may be having trouble because of all the available real estate there. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. There are two suburbs in the Dallas area that you should consider, as this is one of the most popular places in the country to live. A safe living community, quality educational system and high-level housing are common to both.
Business traveles as well as families with small children will find both these cities to be very convenient places to live, and those wishing a nightlife will not be disappointed. One of the suburbs just northeast of Dallas is called Plano, and it has as much to offer its citizens as any place in this Country. It is within a short driving distance of Dallas, and the roads there are well planned and maintained, making this a very trendy place to live. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.
Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. If you've got children you'll be ever happier - Plano boasts an excellent school system. Amenities are sometimes lacking in some suburbs that surround larger cities, and those cities can be underdeveloped as a result. This is not true of Plano.
When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. You will have your choice of entertainment in Plano, also as there are, for instance, world-famous spas and hot-air balloon rides available during the day, while the nighttime sparkles.
CNN has reported that Frisco, the second city of choice near Dallas, is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country. Frisco has held up very well and is a relatively strong market despite the current recession which has hit all areas, including real estate.
You will be making a sound business investment, as well, by buying a home in Frisco at this time. Frisco is 25 minutes from both Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field, as well as being only 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas.
Frisco is, just like Plano, close to many businesses, and has a conference center that hosts conferences and trade shows continuously. Of course, its school system is superb. Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live for its high job growth, high median income and small-town charm. There are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout Frisco, all year round, and it has four professional sports teams.
Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.
Those with more 'cultural' taste will enjoy the beautiful sculputre garden in Frisco and find a variety of events to suit them.
