You might wonder where you should start looking if you are thinking of moving to a home in Texas. Your choice dependents on what criterion are at the top of your list as necessary, and the type of area you would like for your residence. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. A quality educational system, high-level housing and the safety of a close-knit community are common to both.

Families with small children, as well as business travelers, will find both of these cities to be quite desirable, and those looking for nightlife will have a lot from which to choose. Plano, Texas is a suburb just a bit northeast of Dallas that has about as much to offer as any city in the Country. It is within a short driving distance of Dallas, and the roads there are well planned and maintained, making this a very trendy place to live. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.

Plano is a good choice for anyone seeking to make a career move because many corporate headquarters are also found in the area. Because Plano has a great school system, your children will also advance on their own road to success. Many suburbs of the larger, more desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities. Plano does not have this problem.

When you live in Plano, you will never have to worry about where to go to eat and dine, Plano has, or has nearby, just about anything you would need to turn your house into a home. You will have your choice of entertainment in Plano, also as there are, for instance, world-famous spas and hot-air balloon rides available during the day, while the nighttime sparkles.

Frisco is another fast-growing real estate market in the nation (CNN). As a matter of fact, Frisco's real estate market has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.

This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Frisco is 25 minutes from both Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field, as well as being only 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas.

Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. Frisco is constantly ranked as one of the most desirable places to live because it has an excellent school system, high median income, high job growth, and small-town charm. At any time you will find some entertainment in Frisco as it is home to four professional sports teams and has art exhibits including over 150 pieces on public display at all times.

Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.

Those with more 'cultural' taste will enjoy the beautiful sculputre garden in Frisco and find a variety of events to suit them.
