Business traveles as well as families with small children will find both these cities to be very convenient places to live, and those wishing a nightlife will not be disappointed. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. It is a hot, up-and-coming area because it is within a short driving distance, on well-planned roads, of Dallas. Those seeking employment will find a nice surprise in Plano, there are many Fortune 500 companies nearly.

Additionally, many of those companies actually have their corporate headquarters in or near Dallas, making plano a good choice for anyone looking for a fresh career beginning. If you've got children you'll be ever happier - Plano boasts an excellent school system. More desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities, especially those that are smaller suburbs. Plano is a pleasant exception to this.

When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. There will be no derth of entertainment for lesiure time you live in Plano: during the day you might try one of their world-famous spas, and at night you will have dining and dancing choices galore.

The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco's real estate market, like many other markets in Texas, has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.

This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Frisco is just a stone's throw from city life, with Downtown Dallas, Love Field, and the Dallas Forth Worth International Airport all within a half hour.

Frisco is, just like Plano, close to many businesses, and has a conference center that hosts conferences and trade shows continuously. It is unusual to find a city with small-town charm that also has a great school system, high job growth, and high median income; nonetheless, Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live. At any time you will find some entertainment in Frisco as it is home to four professional sports teams and has art exhibits including over 150 pieces on public display at all times.

Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.

Those with more 'cultural' taste will enjoy the beautiful sculputre garden in Frisco and find a variety of events to suit them.
