With so many homes for sale in so many areas in Texas, you might wonder where you should start looking. The type of area you would like to live in and the criterion that are most important to you will have great significance on your ultimate decision. Dalllas, TX is one of the most popular places in Texas to live, and two of them in particular would be great choices. Both offer high-level housing, a quality educational system, a safe environment.

Families with children, as well as single people looking to be near the limelight will be happy in either city, and they ar both convenient for business travelers. While there are very many nice cities in Texas, Plano stands out as a northeat suburb of Dallas as a city with about as many amenities as you will find anywhere. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. Those seeking employment will find a nice surprise in Plano, there are many Fortune 500 companies nearly.

Plano is a good choice for anyone seeking to make a career move because many corporate headquarters are also found in the area. Plano boasts an excellent school system, which will make both you and your children happier. Amenities are sometimes lacking in some suburbs that surround larger cities, and those cities can be underdeveloped as a result. This is not true of Plano.

There are shopping and dining options for every taste - live in Plano and you will no longer have to worry where you will buy that specialty item that will turn your house into the home of your dreams. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.

The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco has held up very well and is a relatively strong market despite the current recession which has hit all areas, including real estate.

This shows that buying a home in Frisco has been, and will continue to be, a sound investment. Downtown Dallas, Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field are all less than a half hour's drive from Frisco.

Both Plano and Frisco are close to many businesses, and Frisco has a conference center that is continuously in use for trade shows and conferences, satisfying a variety of interests. Frisco is ranked as one of the best places to live in this Country -- it has small town charm, but also provides an atmosphere with a great school system, high job growth and a high median income. At any time you will find some entertainment in Frisco as it is home to four professional sports teams and has art exhibits including over 150 pieces on public display at all times.

There is major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place, and the Dallas Stars are the popular home team.

There is a beautiful sculpture garden in Frisco as well which those with discerning taste will be very happy here.
