You might wonder where you should start looking if you are thinking of moving to a home in Texas. The type of area you would like to live in and the criterion that are most important to you will have great significance on your ultimate decision. Dalllas, TX is one of the most popular places in Texas to live, and two of them in particular would be great choices. Both offer high-level housing, a quality educational system, a safe environment.
They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. Plano, Texas is a suburb just a bit northeast of Dallas that has about as much to offer as any city in the Country. Plan is just a short drive from Texas, on well planned roads, which makes it about as much of a hot, up-and-coming community as you will find. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.
Many corporate headquarters can be found here as well, making Plano a good choice for anyone seeking new job opportunities. Plano boasts an excellent school system, which will make both you and your children happier. More desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities, especially those that are smaller suburbs. Quite the contrary in Plano.
There are shopping and dining options for every taste - live in Plano and you will no longer have to worry where you will buy that specialty item that will turn your house into the home of your dreams. Whether you are a night-owl or prefer to entertain yourself during daylight hours, Plano has much to offer, such as hot-air baloon rides, world-famous spas and fantastic dining and dancing.
The second city, Frisco, is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country (CNN). Frisco's real estate market, like many other markets in Texas, has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.
This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Frisco is 25 minutes from both Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field, as well as being only 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas.
Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. Frisco is constantly ranked as one of the most desirable places to live because it has an excellent school system, high median income, high job growth, and small-town charm. There are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout Frisco, all year round, and it has four professional sports teams.
There is major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place, and the Dallas Stars are the popular home team.
Frisco provides a well-rounded cultural and entertainment environment, including its beautiful sculpture garden in the heart of the city.
