You might wonder where you should start looking if you are thinking of moving to a home in Texas. Your choice dependents on what criterion are at the top of your list as necessary, and the type of area you would like for your residence. There are two suburbs in the Dallas area that you should consider, as this is one of the most popular places in the country to live. A quality educational system, high-level housing and the safety of a close-knit community are common to both.

Families with children, as well as single people looking to be near the limelight will be happy in either city, and they ar both convenient for business travelers. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. Plan is just a short drive from Texas, on well planned roads, which makes it about as much of a hot, up-and-coming community as you will find. There are many Fortune 500 companies nearby, and a lot of them are actively looking for new employees.

Plano is a good choice for anyone seeking to make a career move because many corporate headquarters are also found in the area. Plano boasts an excellent school system, which will make both you and your children happier. Amenities are sometimes lacking in some suburbs that surround larger cities, and those cities can be underdeveloped as a result. Plano is a pleasant exception to this.

There are shopping and dining options for every taste - live in Plano and you will no longer have to worry where you will buy that specialty item that will turn your house into the home of your dreams. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.

Frisco is another fast-growing real estate market in the nation (CNN). Frisco's real estate market, like many other markets in Texas, has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.

This shows that buying a home in Frisco has been, and will continue to be, a sound investment. Frisco is just a stone's throw from city life, with Downtown Dallas, Love Field, and the Dallas Forth Worth International Airport all within a half hour.

Frisco is, just like Plano, close to many businesses, and has a conference center that hosts conferences and trade shows continuously. It is unusual to find a city with small-town charm that also has a great school system, high job growth, and high median income; nonetheless, Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live. There is quite a variety of entertainment available in Frisco: the city has four professional sports teams you can root for, and there are over 150 pieces of art displayed in the city at any given time.

There is major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place, and the Dallas Stars are the popular home team.

Frisco provides a well-rounded cultural and entertainment environment, including its beautiful sculpture garden in the heart of the city.
