You might wonder where you should start looking if you are thinking of moving to a home in Texas. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. There are two suburbs in the Dallas area that you should consider, as this is one of the most popular places in the country to live. A high quality educational system, the safety of a relatively small city and beautiful, unique homes can be found in both.

Families with small children, as well as business travelers, will find both of these cities to be quite desirable, and those looking for nightlife will have a lot from which to choose. Plano, Texas is a suburb just a bit northeast of Dallas that has about as much to offer as any city in the Country. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. Those seeking employment will find a nice surprise in Plano, there are many Fortune 500 companies nearly.

Plano is a good choice for anyone seeking to make a career move because many corporate headquarters are also found in the area. Because Plano has a great school system, your children will also advance on their own road to success. Amenities are sometimes lacking in some suburbs that surround larger cities, and those cities can be underdeveloped as a result. Plano does not have this problem.

When you live in Plano, you will never have to worry about where to go to eat and dine, Plano has, or has nearby, just about anything you would need to turn your house into a home. There will be no derth of entertainment for lesiure time you live in Plano: during the day you might try one of their world-famous spas, and at night you will have dining and dancing choices galore.

The second city, Frisco, is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country (CNN). As a matter of fact, Frisco's real estate market has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.

This shows that buying a home in Frisco has been, and will continue to be, a sound investment. Frisco is 25 minutes from both Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field, as well as being only 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas.

Frisco is, just like Plano, close to many businesses, and has a conference center that hosts conferences and trade shows continuously. Of course, its school system is superb. Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live for its high job growth, high median income and small-town charm. For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.

Pizza Hut park is located in Frisco; this is where the Dallas Stars are located, and it is also where major league soccer games are played and concerts are provided.

There is a beautiful sculpture garden in Frisco as well which those with discerning taste will be very happy here.
