Plano Homes For Sale

By dallasrealtor | July 21, 2010

Because there are so many homes for sale all over Texas, you may not be able to decide where to start your earch. This depends largely on the type of area you would like to live in and what your criterion are for moving or purchasing a new home. There are two suburbs in the Dallas area that you should consider, as this is one of the most popular places in the country to live. A safe living community, quality educational system and high-level housing are common to both.

They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. Plano, Texas is a suburb just a bit northeast of Dallas that has about as much to offer as any city in the Country. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. Quite a few of the nearby Fortune 500 companies are seeking employees, so Plano will not disapoint in the job area!

Additionally, many of those companies actually have their corporate headquarters in or near Dallas, making plano a good choice for anyone looking for a fresh career beginning. If you've got children you'll be ever happier - Plano boasts an excellent school system. It is well known that many suburbs of desirable large cities can be a little under-developed in terms of amenities. Plano is a pleasant exception to this.

When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. Whether you are a night-owl or prefer to entertain yourself during daylight hours, Plano has much to offer, such as hot-air baloon rides, world-famous spas and fantastic dining and dancing.

The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco's real estate market, like many other markets in Texas, has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.

You will be making a business investment that is quite sound when you buy a home in Frisco. Downtown Dallas, Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field are all less than a half hour's drive from Frisco.

Frisco is, just like Plano, close to many businesses, and has a conference center that hosts conferences and trade shows continuously. Frisco is ranked as one of the best places to live in this Country -- it has small town charm, but also provides an atmosphere with a great school system, high job growth and a high median income. For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.

Concerts, soccer and football are all played in Pizza Hut park, with the Dallas Stars using it as its home field.

Frisco provides a well-rounded cultural and entertainment environment, including its beautiful sculpture garden in the heart of the city.
