Because there are so many homes for sale all over Texas, you may not be able to decide where to start your earch. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. Both offer high-level housing, a quality educational system, a safe environment.

Business traveles as well as families with small children will find both these cities to be very convenient places to live, and those wishing a nightlife will not be disappointed. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. It is within a short driving distance of Dallas, and the roads there are well planned and maintained, making this a very trendy place to live. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.

Additionally, many of those companies actually have their corporate headquarters in or near Dallas, making plano a good choice for anyone looking for a fresh career beginning. Because Plano has a great school system, your children will also advance on their own road to success. It is well known that many suburbs of desirable large cities can be a little under-developed in terms of amenities. This is not true of Plano.

There are shopping and dining options for every taste - live in Plano and you will no longer have to worry where you will buy that specialty item that will turn your house into the home of your dreams. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.

The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco has held up very well and is a relatively strong market despite the current recession which has hit all areas, including real estate.

This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Frisco is 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas, and 25 minutes from both Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Love Field.

Both Plano and Frisco are close to many businesses, and Frisco has a conference center that is continuously in use for trade shows and conferences, satisfying a variety of interests. Frisco is ranked as one of the best places to live in this Country -- it has small town charm, but also provides an atmosphere with a great school system, high job growth and a high median income. There is quite a variety of entertainment available in Frisco: the city has four professional sports teams you can root for, and there are over 150 pieces of art displayed in the city at any given time.

There is major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place, and the Dallas Stars are the popular home team.

Those with more 'cultural' taste will enjoy the beautiful sculputre garden in Frisco and find a variety of events to suit them.
