You might wonder where you should start looking if you are thinking of moving to a home in Texas. Your choice dependents on what criterion are at the top of your list as necessary, and the type of area you would like for your residence. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. Both offer high-level housing, a quality educational system, a safe environment.
They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. Those seeking employment will find a nice surprise in Plano, there are many Fortune 500 companies nearly.
Many corporate headquarters can be found here as well, making Plano a good choice for anyone seeking new job opportunities. If you have children, you will be thrilled to find out that Plano boasts one of the best school systems in the area. Amenities are sometimes lacking in some suburbs that surround larger cities, and those cities can be underdeveloped as a result. Quite the contrary in Plano.
When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. There will be no derth of entertainment for lesiure time you live in Plano: during the day you might try one of their world-famous spas, and at night you will have dining and dancing choices galore.
The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco has held up very well and is a relatively strong market despite the current recession which has hit all areas, including real estate.
This shows that buying a home in Frisco has been, and will continue to be, a sound investment. Downtown Dallas, Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field are all less than a half hour's drive from Frisco.
Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. Frisco is ranked as one of the best places to live in this Country -- it has small town charm, but also provides an atmosphere with a great school system, high job growth and a high median income. For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.
Concerts, soccer and football are all played in Pizza Hut park, with the Dallas Stars using it as its home field.
Those with more 'cultural' taste will enjoy the beautiful sculputre garden in Frisco and find a variety of events to suit them.
