You might wonder where you should start looking if you are thinking of moving to a home in Texas. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. A quality educational system, high-level housing and the safety of a close-knit community are common to both.

They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. Plano, Texas is a suburb just a bit northeast of Dallas that has about as much to offer as any city in the Country. Plan is just a short drive from Texas, on well planned roads, which makes it about as much of a hot, up-and-coming community as you will find. Quite a few of the nearby Fortune 500 companies are seeking employees, so Plano will not disapoint in the job area!

Many corporate headquarters can be found here as well, making Plano a good choice for anyone seeking new job opportunities. If you've got children you'll be ever happier - Plano boasts an excellent school system. Amenities are sometimes lacking in some suburbs that surround larger cities, and those cities can be underdeveloped as a result. Plano does not have this problem.

There are shopping and dining options for every taste - live in Plano and you will no longer have to worry where you will buy that specialty item that will turn your house into the home of your dreams. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.

Frisco is another fast-growing real estate market in the nation (CNN). Frisco's real estate market, like many other markets in Texas, has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.

This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Frisco is just a stone's throw from city life, with Downtown Dallas, Love Field, and the Dallas Forth Worth International Airport all within a half hour.

Frisco is, just like Plano, close to many businesses, and has a conference center that hosts conferences and trade shows continuously. Of course, its school system is superb. Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live for its high job growth, high median income and small-town charm. For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.

Pizza Hut park is located in Frisco; this is where the Dallas Stars are located, and it is also where major league soccer games are played and concerts are provided.

Those with more 'cultural' taste will enjoy the beautiful sculputre garden in Frisco and find a variety of events to suit them.
