Homes For Sale In Plano

By dallasrealtor | July 25, 2010

With so many homes for sale in so many areas in Texas, you might wonder where you should start looking. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. There are two suburbs in the Dallas area that you should consider, as this is one of the most popular places in the country to live. A high quality educational system, the safety of a relatively small city and beautiful, unique homes can be found in both.

Families with small children, as well as business travelers, will find both of these cities to be quite desirable, and those looking for nightlife will have a lot from which to choose. Plano, Texas is a suburb just a bit northeast of Dallas that has about as much to offer as any city in the Country. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. There are many Fortune 500 companies nearby, and a lot of them are actively looking for new employees.

Additionally, many of those companies actually have their corporate headquarters in or near Dallas, making plano a good choice for anyone looking for a fresh career beginning. Plano boasts an excellent school system, which will make both you and your children happier. Many suburbs of the larger, more desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities. This is not true of Plano.

There are shopping and dining options for every taste - live in Plano and you will no longer have to worry where you will buy that specialty item that will turn your house into the home of your dreams. You will have your choice of entertainment in Plano, also as there are, for instance, world-famous spas and hot-air balloon rides available during the day, while the nighttime sparkles.

The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco has held up very well and is a relatively strong market despite the current recession which has hit all areas, including real estate.

This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Frisco is 25 minutes from both Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field, as well as being only 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas.

Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. Of course, its school system is superb. Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live for its high job growth, high median income and small-town charm. There is quite a variety of entertainment available in Frisco: the city has four professional sports teams you can root for, and there are over 150 pieces of art displayed in the city at any given time.

Concerts, soccer and football are all played in Pizza Hut park, with the Dallas Stars using it as its home field.

Everybody will be happy with the culture and entertainment in Frisco, it has one of the most beautiful sculpture gardens around, which will add serenity to anyone's life.
