With so many homes for sale in so many areas in Texas, you might wonder where you should start looking. Your choice dependents on what criterion are at the top of your list as necessary, and the type of area you would like for your residence. You should consider one of two very popular suburbs of Dallas, TX, as they both have a wide variety of various amenities. A quality educational system, high-level housing and the safety of a close-knit community are common to both.

They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. While there are very many nice cities in Texas, Plano stands out as a northeat suburb of Dallas as a city with about as many amenities as you will find anywhere. Plan is just a short drive from Texas, on well planned roads, which makes it about as much of a hot, up-and-coming community as you will find. There are many Fortune 500 companies nearby, and a lot of them are actively looking for new employees.

Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. Plano boasts an excellent school system, which will make both you and your children happier. It is well known that many suburbs of desirable large cities can be a little under-developed in terms of amenities. Plano is a pleasant exception to this.

When you live in Plano, you will never have to worry about where to go to eat and dine, Plano has, or has nearby, just about anything you would need to turn your house into a home. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.

The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco's real estate market, like many other markets in Texas, has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.

This shows that it has been a sound investment to buy a home in Frisco, and that is expected to continue. Downtown Dallas, Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field are all less than a half hour's drive from Frisco.

Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. Frisco is constantly ranked as one of the most desirable places to live because it has an excellent school system, high median income, high job growth, and small-town charm. There are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout Frisco, all year round, and it has four professional sports teams.

Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.

There is a beautiful sculpture garden in Frisco as well which those with discerning taste will be very happy here.
