Homes For Sale In Plano

By dallasrealtor | July 27, 2010

Because there are so many homes for sale all over Texas, you may not be able to decide where to start your earch. This depends largely on the type of area you would like to live in and what your criterion are for moving or purchasing a new home. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. Both offer high-level housing, a quality educational system, a safe environment.

They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. While there are very many nice cities in Texas, Plano stands out as a northeat suburb of Dallas as a city with about as many amenities as you will find anywhere. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. Quite a few of the nearby Fortune 500 companies are seeking employees, so Plano will not disapoint in the job area!

Many corporate headquarters can be found here as well, making Plano a good choice for anyone seeking new job opportunities. Plano boasts an excellent school system, which will make both you and your children happier. More desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities, especially those that are smaller suburbs. This is not true of Plano.

When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. Whether you are a night-owl or prefer to entertain yourself during daylight hours, Plano has much to offer, such as hot-air baloon rides, world-famous spas and fantastic dining and dancing.

Frisco is another fast-growing real estate market in the nation (CNN). Times have been somewhat tough for the real estate market during this recession, but Frisco has held up well.

You will be making a sound business investment, as well, by buying a home in Frisco at this time. Frisco is 25 minutes from both Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field, as well as being only 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas.

Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. It is unusual to find a city with small-town charm that also has a great school system, high job growth, and high median income; nonetheless, Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live. There are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout Frisco, all year round, and it has four professional sports teams.

Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.

Those with more 'cultural' taste will enjoy the beautiful sculputre garden in Frisco and find a variety of events to suit them.
