You might wonder where you should start looking if you are thinking of moving to a home in Texas. Your decision on where to begin will depend on the amenities you are looking for and the type of neighborhood that best suits you. Dalllas, TX is one of the most popular places in Texas to live, and two of them in particular would be great choices. A safe living community, quality educational system and high-level housing are common to both.

Families with small children, as well as business travelers, will find both of these cities to be quite desirable, and those looking for nightlife will have a lot from which to choose. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. Plan is just a short drive from Texas, on well planned roads, which makes it about as much of a hot, up-and-coming community as you will find. Those seeking employment will find a nice surprise in Plano, there are many Fortune 500 companies nearly.

Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. If you have children, you will be thrilled to find out that Plano boasts one of the best school systems in the area. More desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities, especially those that are smaller suburbs. Quite the contrary in Plano.

When you live in Plano, you will never have to worry about where to go to eat and dine, Plano has, or has nearby, just about anything you would need to turn your house into a home. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.

The second city, Frisco, is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country (CNN). Frisco's real estate market, like many other markets in Texas, has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.

This shows that buying a home in Frisco has been, and will continue to be, a sound investment. Downtown Dallas, Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field are all less than a half hour's drive from Frisco.

Like Plano, Frisco provides an excellent quality of life, it is also close to many businesses and has a popular conference center that holds trade shows year-round. It is unusual to find a city with small-town charm that also has a great school system, high job growth, and high median income; nonetheless, Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live. There are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout Frisco, all year round, and it has four professional sports teams.

Concerts, soccer and football are all played in Pizza Hut park, with the Dallas Stars using it as its home field.

Everybody will be happy with the culture and entertainment in Frisco, it has one of the most beautiful sculpture gardens around, which will add serenity to anyone's life.
