With so many homes for sale in so many areas in Texas, you might wonder where you should start looking. This depends largely on the type of area you would like to live in and what your criterion are for moving or purchasing a new home. You should consider one of two very popular suburbs of Dallas, TX, as they both have a wide variety of various amenities. A high quality educational system, the safety of a relatively small city and beautiful, unique homes can be found in both.
Families with children, as well as single people looking to be near the limelight will be happy in either city, and they ar both convenient for business travelers. One of the suburbs just northeast of Dallas is called Plano, and it has as much to offer its citizens as any place in this Country. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. There are many Fortune 500 companies nearby, and a lot of them are actively looking for new employees.
Many corporate headquarters can be found here as well, making Plano a good choice for anyone seeking new job opportunities. Because Plano has a great school system, your children will also advance on their own road to success. More desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities, especially those that are smaller suburbs. Plano does not have this problem.
When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. There is plenty of fantastic nightlife in Plano, and for daytime entertainment, you might want to go for a ride in a hot air balloon or visit one of its world-famous spas.
The second city, Frisco, is one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the country (CNN). Times have been somewhat tough for the real estate market during this recession, but Frisco has held up well.
This shows that buying a home in Frisco has been, and will continue to be, a sound investment. Frisco is just a stone's throw from city life, with Downtown Dallas, Love Field, and the Dallas Forth Worth International Airport all within a half hour.
Both Plano and Frisco are close to many businesses, and Frisco has a conference center that is continuously in use for trade shows and conferences, satisfying a variety of interests. Frisco is ranked as one of the best places to live in this Country -- it has small town charm, but also provides an atmosphere with a great school system, high job growth and a high median income. For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.
Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.
There is a beautiful sculpture garden in Frisco as well which those with discerning taste will be very happy here.
