If you are looking to buy a home in Texas, you may be having trouble because of all the available real estate there. Your choice dependents on what criterion are at the top of your list as necessary, and the type of area you would like for your residence. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. A high quality educational system, the safety of a relatively small city and beautiful, unique homes can be found in both.
They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. While there are very many nice cities in Texas, Plano stands out as a northeat suburb of Dallas as a city with about as many amenities as you will find anywhere. It is a hot, up-and-coming area because it is within a short driving distance, on well-planned roads, of Dallas. There are many Fortune 500 companies nearby, and a lot of them are actively looking for new employees.
Many corporate headquarters can be found here as well, making Plano a good choice for anyone seeking new job opportunities. Because Plano has a great school system, your children will also advance on their own road to success. Many suburbs of the larger, more desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities. Plano is a pleasant exception to this.
When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. You will have your choice of entertainment in Plano, also as there are, for instance, world-famous spas and hot-air balloon rides available during the day, while the nighttime sparkles.
The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). Frisco has held up very well and is a relatively strong market despite the current recession which has hit all areas, including real estate.
You will be making a business investment that is quite sound when you buy a home in Frisco. Frisco is 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas, and 25 minutes from both Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Love Field.
Frisco is, just like Plano, close to many businesses, and has a conference center that hosts conferences and trade shows continuously. It is unusual to find a city with small-town charm that also has a great school system, high job growth, and high median income; nonetheless, Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live. There is quite a variety of entertainment available in Frisco: the city has four professional sports teams you can root for, and there are over 150 pieces of art displayed in the city at any given time.
Concerts, soccer and football are all played in Pizza Hut park, with the Dallas Stars using it as its home field.
Those looking for an afternoon of serenity can take a trip to the sculptural garden, which is just one more landmark that makes Frisco a place to call home.
