With so many homes for sale in so many areas in Texas, you might wonder where you should start looking. This depends largely on the type of area you would like to live in and what your criterion are for moving or purchasing a new home. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. Both offer high-level housing, a quality educational system, a safe environment.

They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. One of the suburbs just northeast of Dallas is called Plano, and it has as much to offer its citizens as any place in this Country. Plano is a hot, up-and-coming area because while it is a quiet, safe city, it is a short distance from Dallas, on well-planned roads. There are many companies seeking new employees in the area of Plano, and many of these are Fortune 500.

Many of those companies have their corporate headquarters in or near Plano, making it a good choice for those seeking an upward move in their career. If you've got children you'll be ever happier - Plano boasts an excellent school system. More desirable cities can be a little underdeveloped in terms of their amenities, especially those that are smaller suburbs. Quite the contrary in Plano.

When you live in Plano, you will never have to worry about where to go to eat and dine, Plano has, or has nearby, just about anything you would need to turn your house into a home. You will have your choice of entertainment in Plano, also as there are, for instance, world-famous spas and hot-air balloon rides available during the day, while the nighttime sparkles.

Frisco is another fast-growing real estate market in the nation (CNN). Times have been somewhat tough for the real estate market during this recession, but Frisco has held up well.

This shows that buying a home in Frisco has been, and will continue to be, a sound investment. Frisco is 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas, and 25 minutes from both Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Love Field.

Both Plano and Frisco are close to many businesses, and Frisco has a conference center that is continuously in use for trade shows and conferences, satisfying a variety of interests. Frisco is constantly ranked as one of the most desirable places to live because it has an excellent school system, high median income, high job growth, and small-town charm. At any time you will find some entertainment in Frisco as it is home to four professional sports teams and has art exhibits including over 150 pieces on public display at all times.

Frisco is home to the Dallas Stars and there is also major league soccer play at Pizza Hut Park, where a variety of concerts and football take place.

Frisco provides a well-rounded cultural and entertainment environment, including its beautiful sculpture garden in the heart of the city.
