With so many homes for sale in so many areas in Texas, you might wonder where you should start looking. The type of area you would like to live in and the criterion that are most important to you will have great significance on your ultimate decision. The Dallas area is one of the most popular places to live in Texas, and there are two suburbs in particular that are superior choices. A high quality educational system, the safety of a relatively small city and beautiful, unique homes can be found in both.
They are convenient for business travelers, families with children and single people looking to be right near the center of all attractions. The first of these, Plano, Texas, is a suburb just a little northeast of Dallas, and it boasts a plethora of amenities that you will not always find in a smaller city. Plan is just a short drive from Texas, on well planned roads, which makes it about as much of a hot, up-and-coming community as you will find. Those seeking employment will find a nice surprise in Plano, there are many Fortune 500 companies nearly.
Plano is a good choice for anyone seeking to make a career move because many corporate headquarters are also found in the area. If you've got children you'll be ever happier - Plano boasts an excellent school system. Amenities are sometimes lacking in some suburbs that surround larger cities, and those cities can be underdeveloped as a result. Plano does not have this problem.
When you live in Plano you will no longer have to worry where you will find whatever you need to make your house into a home, it is all right there at your fingertips. Whether you are a night-owl or prefer to entertain yourself during daylight hours, Plano has much to offer, such as hot-air baloon rides, world-famous spas and fantastic dining and dancing.
The second suburb you might consider, is Frisco, and it is one of the faster-growing communities in the real estate market (CNN). As a matter of fact, Frisco's real estate market has remained relatively strong throughout this recession.
You will be making a business investment that is quite sound when you buy a home in Frisco. Downtown Dallas, Dallas Forth Worth International Airport and Love Field are all less than a half hour's drive from Frisco.
Both Plano and Frisco are close to many businesses, and Frisco has a conference center that is continuously in use for trade shows and conferences, satisfying a variety of interests. Of course, its school system is superb. Frisco is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live for its high job growth, high median income and small-town charm. For entertainment, Frisco has four professional sports teams, and there are over 150 pieces of art on public display throughout the city.
Concerts, soccer and football are all played in Pizza Hut park, with the Dallas Stars using it as its home field.
Those with more 'cultural' taste will enjoy the beautiful sculputre garden in Frisco and find a variety of events to suit them.
